TAST – Bettane et Deseauve
Château La Rose Perrière
Lussac Saint-Emilion, Rouge 2009

Ce vin est puissant, il possède un élevage bien intégré, ses tanins sont longs et frais sur leur finale.

2009 - La Rose Perriere
A Bordeaux Blend Dry Red Table wine from Lussac St Emilion, Bordeaux, France

Review by Robert Parker
WA # #188 (Apr 2010)
Rating : (87-89)
Drink 2010-2018

This sleeper of the vintage is a well-made offering from one of St.-Emilion's obscure satellite appellations. Its dark purple color is followed by a sweet bouquet of creosote, black cherries, black currants, and licorice, a textured, fleshy mouthfeel, surprising concentration (for such a minor appellation), and a long finish. It should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 7-8 years. (Tasted once).

2009 Chateau La Rose Perriere 88-90

The nose displays moderate definition, quite refined, blackberry, espresso and a touch of sea salt. Quite pretty and classic. The palate is medium-bodied, a little peppery on the entry, fine tannins, grainy texture with good tension on the tar-tinged finish. Fine length. This Lussac-Saint Emilion has character. Very fine. Tasted March 2010.
