The 2020 La Rose Perrière is a very beautiful, vivid wine. Sweet/red purplish fruit, wild flowers; spice, blood orange and bright acids give the 2020 its vibrant, salivating personality. This mid-weight, sleek Lussac Saint-Emilion has a ton of character.

Technical information

    •  
    • Blend: 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Malbec.
 
    • All vineyard operations are carried out by hand, including leaf thinning, green harvesting, grape picking and grape sorting.
 
    • Cold pre-fermentation maceration, with vinification partly in 500-litre oak barrels and malolactic fermentation in 500-litre oak barrels.
 
    • Aged in 225-litre and 500-litre barrels made from 100% new French oak, as well as in large oak casks (foudres).
 
    • Alcohol: 14% ABV.
 
  • Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years.
